I really love this type face's to me they just shout heavy metal, gothic, tatoo tones
They originate from Germany ( can imagine them on tanks and Nazi propaganda )
and also on news paper head I think the times still uses one very similar.
The negative thing about this type face is that is not that legible when confronted with more than a few words
AC/DC use a gothic type face not my most favorite of bands but liked them enough to buy the T-shirt
My bestest belt also has gothic type on it but is not very legible
